The new OpenATV 7.6 is based on OpenEmbedded OE5.2 (Walnascar) and brings several important changes.
Key Changes in OpenATV 7.6:
- First OpenATV image with Python 3.13 and OpenSSL 3.4.0.
 - Attention: All closed IPK packages delivered only as PYC/SO files are no longer compatible.
 - It will likely take several weeks/months for developers to provide updated versions of these closed IPKs.
 - Please be patient and do not spam plugin and skin developers with requests – updates will come.
 - The final version of OpenATV 7.6 is expected to be released in summer 2025, provided no major issues arise.
